The Senior Developer, Visualizations is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality data visualization solutions to support pre-sale, post-sale, and operational analytics. This role focuses on building scalable business intelligence solutions that deliver actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
The Senior Developer will work closely with analysts, business partners, and cross-functional teams to transform healthcare data-particularly claims and revenue cycle data, including 835 and 837 transaction data-into meaningful dashboards, visualizations, and decision-support tools. This role requires strong expertise in healthcare analytics, advanced SQL and Power BI capabilities, and the ability to align analytics solutions with business objectives.
The Senior Developer partners with stakeholders to define KPIs, support data standards, and deliver high-quality analytics products that drive informed decision-making across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards and report solutions that support broad business use and deliver meaningful insights
- Translate complex and ambiguous business requirements into effective visualization and analytics solutions
- Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of analytics across client and operational deliverables, demonstrating a strong commitment to data quality and governance
- Partner with stakeholders to identify business needs, define KPIs, and deliver clear, actionable insights aligned to business objectives
- Analyze large, complex healthcare datasets, including claims, remits, revenue cycle data, and 835/837 transaction data, to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
- Apply best practices in data visualization, data modeling, and SQL development to deliver scalable and high-performing analytics solutions
- Demonstrate strong analytical thinking by connecting data across systems and translating complex information into clear business value
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, data models, and transformations to support efficient and reliable analytics delivery
- Contribute to the development and improvement of repeatable data processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through presentations, dashboards, and discussions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver integrated and aligned analytics solutions
- Work independently with limited direction while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proactively identify and resolve data, system, or performance issues through strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Support compliance with data governance, security, and healthcare regulatory requirements
- Contribute to analytical initiatives including client reporting, pre-sale analytics, and operational performance tracking
- Identify opportunities to leverage new data sources, tools, and methodologies to improve analytics delivery and drive continuous improvement

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Power BI development, including delivery of enterprise-level solutions
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, including complex query development, data modeling, and performance optimization
- 2+ years of experience designing scalable data models and analytics solutions aligned to business needs
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working with healthcare claims and revenue cycle data, including interpretation and transformation of 835 and 837 transaction datasets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coding certification (e.g., CPC, CCS, or similar)
- Understanding of healthcare data structures, including diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and revenue cycle workflows
- Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple sources
- Experience in healthcare consulting, payer/provider analytics, or healthcare technology organizations
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Understanding of data governance and data quality practices

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
