Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner in strategic planning for design and transformation of the accounting and finance function to world-class real-time financials across finance and accounting by 2029
  • Drive Optum process re-engineering to ensure best in class AI solutions and world class processes resulting in incremental IOI
  • Lead a team of six sigma belts to perform the process re-engineering efforts
  • Lead and/or participate in large scale projects as required to address new product process design for finance and accounting and special projects addressing large scale problems

Required Qualifications: 

  • 15+ years of experience in the accounting and finance re-engineering and/or advisory services in the accounting and finance space
  • Must possess one of the following:
    oSix Sigma Black Belt
    oMaster Black Belt
    oBig 4 Senior Manager experience in the AI re-engineering space
  • 2+ years of AI re-engineering experience
  • Expert level knowledge in what is possible and technologies of AI
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or equivalent experience
  • Advanced level of communication skills and ability to understand details of current state, document gaps and make suggestions for improvement in executive presentations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Health care Experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $159,300 to $273,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
