This dual-role position requires a strategic thinker with advanced forecasting, budgeting, and contractual management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of managing project forecasts and budgets, contract requirements, demonstrated experience drafting legal and operational documents, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across a matrixed organization.


This role ensures financial planning is accurate, contractual obligations are met and change control processes are executed with precision and compliance.


You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Forecasting & Budget Management
    • Develop, maintain, and present financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses
    • Partner with cross-functional teams to collect, validate, and interpret operational and financial data
    • Ensure forecasting accuracy through continuous monitoring, modeling, and adjustment of assumptions based off input from team leaders
    • Support long-range planning and monthly forecast revisions
  • Change Control & Contract Management
    • Lead the end-to-end change control process for enhancements, ensuring compliance with contractual and organizational requirements
    • Draft and manage legal and operational documents including Change Requests (CRs), Statements of Work (SOWs), amendments, and contract-related correspondence
    • Review contracts to ensure adherence to scope, performance obligations, pricing structures, and service levels
    • Serve as the primary liaison for change control activities across internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively in a matrix environment with operations, finance, legal, program management, and other business units
    • Ensure alignment of financial, contractual, and operational deliverables
    • Act as a subject matter expert in forecasting and change control practices
  • Quality, Compliance & Detail Orientation
    • Maintain detailed documentation and audit trails related to forecasts, decisions, and change control actions
    • Ensure all deliverables are accurate, timely, and compliant with internal controls and audit standards
    • Demonstrate solid attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • PMP Certification
  • 7+ years of experience as lead project manager for large scale development, preferably for State Government Medicaid Integrated Eligibility projects
  • 5+ years of experience in forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, or contract management
  • 3+ years of experience working with contractual language, scope management, and change control processes
  • 2+ years of experience drafting Statements of Work, Change Requests, or similar formal documents
  • Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven high attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and compliance
  • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse teams in a matrix environment
  • Proven solid communication and interpersonal skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
