As a Software Engineer focusing on Quality Assurance and SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our healthcare technology solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional development teams to design and build automated testing frameworks, write automation code, execute comprehensive test suites, and champion quality engineering best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. By developing robust automation scripts and analyzing test results, you will help accelerate our product delivery while maintaining the highest standards of software quality.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts for web, API, and backend applications to ensure product quality and regression coverage
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, and analysts to understand functional requirements, design test strategies, and write detailed test plans
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and rapid deployment cycles
  • Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot complex software defects, documenting detailed bug reports and tracking them to resolution
  • Identify opportunities for test automation, performance testing, and security scanning, and implement modern quality engineering tools and patterns
  • Analyze test coverage and test execution metrics, providing quality reports and recommendations to team leadership
  • Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies to ensure quality is integrated at every stage of the lifecycle
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working within an Agile/Scrum development team and using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
  • 3+ years of experience in testing RESTful APIs and working with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
  • 2+ years of professional software engineering and/or test automation development experience with tools like: Selenium, Playright and something similar  
  • 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming languages such as Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • 2+ years of experience in designing, writing, and executing automated test suites using frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Cucumber

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience in integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
  • Exposure to testing cloud-based applications (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, Locust, or K6
  • Familiarity with database technologies and writing SQL queries to verify data integrity
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
