As the Sr. Director Technical Product Manager for the Identity Platform, you will lead the strategic vision for a massive ecosystem including HealthSafe ID and One Healthcare ID (OHID). You will drive the platform through two critical phases: managing the exponential growth and self-service evolution of our mature Human Identity business (60M+ consumers, 300M+ records) and launching the new Non-Human Identity (NHI) strategy to bind digital workers and agents to human identities. This high-profile role requires a commercial mindset to transform Tier 0 applications into a self-service model that hides complexity through thoughtful abstractions. You will lead a high-performing Technical Product Management team, defining how modern technologies like artificial intelligence reshape identity interoperability and internal delivery workflows.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Champion the strategic use of emerging technologies to solve platform challenges, unlock commercial opportunities, and deliver tangible business value
- Integrate modern efficiency tools and intelligent automated systems into the team's development and delivery workflows, actively removing barriers to technology adoption
- Lead the Technical Product Management organization in setting goals for digital literacy and the ethical, transparent use of new technologies across the platform lifecycle
- Direct the long-term strategic roadmap for the Human Identity platform, driving toward a self-service commercial model that enables exponential growth
- Design and enforce platform abstractions and strategic limits that simplify the integration experience for users while maintaining high-scale performance
- Partner with Consumer Product, Legal, Privacy, and Security leadership to ensure Identity products exceed enterprise standards for security and connected experiences
- Oversee the strategy for Non-Human Identity (NHI), establishing the frameworks to bind digital workers and agents to human identities across workforce and consumer segments
- Manage the product strategy for multiple Tier 0 applications, ensuring extreme reliability and scale for global healthcare operations
- Mentor and lead a team of Technical Product Managers, fostering a culture of curiosity, commercial focus, and strategic clarity
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 12+ years of equivalent technical product management experience
- 10+ years of technical product management experience, with a focus on platform strategy and scaling high-volume products
- 5+ years of experience leading and managing technical product management teams
- Proven experience managing high-availability, mission-critical (Tier 0) platform services at massive scale
- Demonstrated history of successfully navigating product lifecycles through both initial launch ("scratch to scale") and mature growth phases
- Proven ability to partner with Legal, Privacy, and Security functions in a large, complex organization
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Consumer Engineering or large-scale consumer digital platforms
- Understanding of emerging identity requirements for digital workers and machine-to-machine authentication
- Broad expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) standards and large-scale data management layers (e.g., MDM/EiMP)
