The Sr Industrial Engineer understands the principles of statistical quality control, innovative ways to understand business intelligence, basic project management skills, and leading organizational change. You will bring your working knowledge of time studies, processing mapping, statistical modeling, and inferential statistics.You will get to help grow and develop our process engineering team into industry leaders in the healthcare field.
Location: You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis, Connecticut or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office for a minimum of four days per week.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM, flexibility with schedule once training is completed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead end‑to‑end business process management activities, including reviewing, designing, controlling, and continuously improving operational processes.
- Drive customer readiness and implementation efforts by leading cross‑functional project teams; diagnose process improvement opportunities and develop solutions using process excellence, industrial engineering, Six Sigma, and related methodologies.
- Apply industrial engineering fundamentals, advanced statistical modeling, and emerging technologies to develop practical, data‑driven solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Partner with leadership to define project strategies, develop project plans, and perform cost‑benefit analyses to ensure successful execution of process improvement initiatives.
- Provide analytical support to define business requirements, functional specifications, design criteria, and testing approaches for process, technical, and analytical projects.
- Serve as a subject‑matter expert on productivity measurement, including standard time development, work studies, work sampling, and performance measurement methodologies.
- Use statistical and quantitative methods to evaluate account‑level operational performance, forecast demand, and determine staffing and capacity requirements.
- Analyze and improve workflows by evaluating process maps and flowcharts, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending enhancements to workflows, procedures, technology, and tools.
- Demonstrate working knowledge of statistical quality control, business intelligence concepts, and basic project management, and actively support organizational change initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; degree preferred in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering or Engineering/Mathematics
- 5+ years of experience in applying industrial Engineering fundamentals including time and motion studies (stopwatch or fixed motion)
- 3+ years of experience with documenting processes, process mapping, creating and deploying process documentation standards, and process documentation governance procedures
- 3+ years of experience applying statistical methods
- Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Visio and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree or MBA
- Experience in Agile
- Experience with capacity planning
- Experience managing multiple, simultaneous projects
- Experience with data mining methods, statistical modeling, and optimization techniques
- Experience applying industrial engineering fundamentals in a service industry
- Experience as a change agent with demonstrated transformations in the process engineering domain
- Excellent communication, time/project management, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
