This position is Field Based and requires regular travel to various locations as part of your daily responsibilities.

The Sourcing Procurement Analyst is responsible for effective, organization-wide purchasing of services, materials and supplies in order to maximize cost efficiencies, price leverage and quality while also identifying and mitigating risk to the organization. Typically oversees development of broad internal policies and strategies, specific parameters for procurement, vendor selection and negotiation.

This position will be based at American Health Network's CSO in Indianapolis, IN and is NOT being considered for telecommute.

This position is full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm.

We offer 3-4 weeks of on-the-job training. Some training onsite  - 1 week onsite at 13000 N Meridian St, Carmel, IN 46032. The hours of training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop strategies that maximize operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness of the entire supply chain that promotes LEAN methods in all process improvement undertakings
  • Ensure that all sourcing and procurement activities support and are aligned with supply chain strategies
  • Establish roles/responsibilities with stakeholders
  • Support/manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Evaluate demand forecasts and budgets
  • Understand and drive new customer requirements
  • Drive supplier consolidation and leverage spend across the enterprise
  • Perform needs analysis/gather business requirements
  • Understand/analyze the applicable market
  • Implement and manage new Procure-to-pay system
  • Ensure adherence to applicable business standards and requirements
  • Coordinate and lead vendor visits
  • Manage contract documents
  • Utilize contract management systems
  • Ensure alignment with business and financial goals
  • Presales consulting - buyer assistance
  • Program management
  • Identify and evaluate regulations that impact vendor oversight
  • Set vendor management standards
  • Develop and monitor vendor management performance plans
  • Develop and ensure compliance with vendor management regulatory and contractual compliance plans
  • Reporting
  • Analytics
  • Technology/tools assessment, implementation and management
  • Cost-saving activities
  • Coordination of Sourcing and Procurement communications (internal/external)

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
  • Must be 18 years of age OR older
  • 3+ years of experience working in purchasing / procurement or a clinical environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to travel 10% to different sites on a monthly basis
  • Ability to work full time Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in purchasing or procurement for a healthcare organization
  • Experience with procure-to-pay software

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.89 - $42.69 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
