As a Consultant Business Systems specializing in Hardware Asset Management (HAM), you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to deliver scalable asset management solutions and process improvements. You will collaborate with global infrastructure, engineering, procurement, and IT Asset Management teams to enhance hardware lifecycle processes, improve data quality, and drive operational efficiencies across enterprise asset management platforms. This role will play a critical part in supporting compliance, governance, reporting, and technology modernization initiatives across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze, define, and document business and technical requirements for Hardware Asset Management (HAM) systems and processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Hardware Asset Management processes by identifying opportunities for automation, workflow optimization, and enhanced user experience
  • Develop and maintain enterprise reporting dashboards and data integrity controls to improve visibility into hardware asset lifecycle, inventory accuracy, compliance, and operational performance
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives and projects focused on asset management systems, process optimization, automation, and technology enhancements to support evolving business needs
  • Establish and enforce data governance standards for hardware asset records, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across multiple enterprise platforms and data sources
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define, prioritize, and implement system enhancements while ensuring alignment with organizational policies, controls, and operational objectives
  • Support internal and external audit activities through evidence collection, Process documentation, compliance reporting, and remediation tracking
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Hardware Asset Management processes, providing guidance, training, and consultation to business partners, operational teams, and technology stakeholders
  • Analyze large datasets to identify asset lifecycle trends, compliance risks, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost optimization and process standardization
  • Partner with product owners, development teams, and vendors to define business requirements, conduct user acceptance testing (UAT), and support successful implementation of system enhancements
  • Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and service metrics, presenting actionable insights and recommendations to leadership to drive informed decision-making
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and asset lifecycle management processes within a large enterprise environment
  • 1+ years of experience using productivity or AI-driven tools (e.g., enterprise analytical tools, automated documentation, AI-assisted workflows) to optimize data analysis and daily deliverables
  • Hands-on experience working with Hardware Asset Management platforms such as ServiceNow HAM, Flexera, BMC Remedy, or similar enterprise asset management solutions
  • Experience working with procurement and asset acquisition platforms such as SAP Ariba or similar sourcing and procurement solutions
  • Experience analyzing and validating large datasets to identify trends, exceptions, data quality issues, and process improvement opportunities
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, data analysis, reporting, and dashboard creation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field (or 4+ years of equivalent business systems analysis experience)
  • Relevant professional certification such as IAITAM (CSAM, CHAMP), CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Knowledge of SEZ/PEZA guidelines and local law of land
  • Understanding of vendor compliance, hardware lifecycle management, or CMDB data structures
  • Familiarity with global hardware asset management processes, governance frameworks, audit controls, and compliance requirements
