Director-level training leadership role for Core US Healthcare Operations supporting Payer accounts. The role requires 15+ years of experience leading training delivery, governance, and transformation across clinical operations, multiple countries, and large-scale business environments. Preferred background includes medical allied qualification with coding certification.
The Director - Training will lead enterprise training strategy, delivery, governance, and innovation for Core US Healthcare Operations supporting Payer accounts. This role is accountable for building scalable, digital, and outcome-driven learning models that improve speed-to-proficiency, quality, compliance, productivity, and workforce readiness across global clinical and non-clinical operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Training Transformation & Innovation
- Lead enterprise training transformation for Core US Healthcare Operations supporting Payer accounts, with focus on clinical capability building, global delivery consistency, and faster speed-to-proficiency
- Design scalable learning models using shared clinical foundations, role-based specialization, simulations, digital learning, AI-enabled tools, microlearning, and performance support solutions
- Drive innovation in curriculum design, training digitization, assessment strategy, trainer enablement, and learner readiness to improve quality, productivity, compliance, and operational scalability
- Own training governance, prioritization, capacity planning, risk mitigation, and executive reporting across multiple clinical accounts, countries, functions, and business stakeholders
Partner with Operations, Quality, Talent Acquisition, Business Excellence, and senior leaders to align training strategy with business growth, automation adoption, talent mobility, and future-ready workforce needs
Measure business impact through reduced training time, improved readiness, stronger quality outcomes, optimized trainer capacity, lower rework, and accelerated production ramp
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; medical allied qualification such as BPT, BHMS, BAMS, BDS, or MBBS is preferred
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare training, learning strategy, operations training, capability development, or enterprise learning leadership
- Proven experience leading domestic, global, or multi-site training teams across clinical and non-clinical portfolios
- Experience managing large-scale new hire training, upskilling, cross-skilling, certification readiness, quality remediation, and transformation enablement programs
- Solid exposure to healthcare payer operations, claims, coding, clinical review, compliance, quality, and operational performance expectations
- Solid data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to connect learning metrics to operational outcomes
- Executive presence, stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, curriculum simplification, and training digitization experience
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts and comply with return-to-office requirements
Preferred Qualification:
- CPC, CIC, COC, or equivalent coding certification
