The role supports and/or leads internal audit and risk management consulting activities across financial, operational, and information technology areas. The position evaluates the effectiveness of internal controls, accuracy of financial and operational information, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and report on internal audits in accordance with professional and departmental standards
  • Perform financial, operational, business process, and IT audits, including SOX and other regulatory control testing
  • Document audit procedures, prepare high‑quality workpapers, and meet agreed timelines
  • Identify control gaps, perform root cause analysis, and recommend practical corrective actions
  • Conduct follow‑ups on audit action plans to ensure timely remediation
  • Execute or lead ICFR, IT audits related to IT General Controls (ITGC), information security, and technology risks, as applicable
  • Review work performed by team members and provide guidance where required
  • Participate in special projects, advisory engagements, and departmental initiatives
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience
    • Chartered Accountant (CA) or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
    • Total work experience of 6+ years
    • Relevant experience in internal audit, public accounting, internal controls, risk management, or IT audit
    • Experience with SOX, MAR, India Companies Act, and IT control frameworks preferred
    • Solid understanding of auditing principles, internal controls, and risk management concepts
    • Exposure to healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries is an advantage
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Solid analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CIA, CFE, CSOE
  • CISA, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or related certifications
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
