Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling content (articles, blogs, white papers, case studies, social posts, infographics) using approved creative briefs and messaging guides to increase visibility and adoption of Optum Financial products and services, with greater ownership of content quality, messaging clarity, and audience alignment
  • Support successful product launches and integrated campaigns through solid storytelling and content execution aligned to business objectives, while proactively identifying content opportunities and gaps
  • Repurpose long-form content into high-impact short-form assets to maximize reach and engagement across channels, with increasing responsibility for channel-fit optimization and performance improvement
  • Manage creation of event-related assets, including booth designs, event materials, and supporting social media content, ensuring consistency of brand presence and messaging across touchpoints
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive sales enablement materials, including sales toolkits, battle cards, bills of materials, and FAQs, with solid alignment to field needs and evolving business priorities
  • Own the creation and distribution of the monthly sales newsletter to support field readiness and alignment, enhancing relevance, usability, and engagement over time
  • Complete content briefs for website creation and ongoing updates, ensuring alignment with approved messaging, while bringing a solider point of view on content structure and user experience
  • Manage and maintain the Sales Hub, ensuring sales teams have access to current, compliant, and effective assets, with increased accountability for usability and adoption
  • Lead annual audits of sales and marketing materials, coordinating reviews, tracking feedback, managing approvals, and maintaining asset governance with greater independence and stakeholder coordination
  • Track asset usage and performance metrics to inform optimization and future content planning, proactively recommending improvements based on insights
  • Maintain editorial calendars, content trackers, team SOPs, and the archive of marketing and sales assets, ensuring operational rigor and consistency
  • Apply brand, legal, and compliance edits following approvals to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory adherence, with solid attention to detail and accountability
  • Collaborate more independently with cross-functional stakeholders (product, sales, brand, compliance) to ensure alignment and timely delivery of high-quality outputs
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on content creation and sales enablement in a matrixed environment
  • Proven experience producing content such as white papers, articles, blogs, case studies, and social media assets, with demonstrated improvement in quality and impact over time
  • Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of work from concept through execution and optimization, with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated project management capability across multiple stakeholders and parallel initiatives, with increasing ownership of timelines and deliverables
  • Solid interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships and navigate stakeholders independently
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and adapting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with sound judgment in decision-making

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing PowerPoint presentations
  • Experience marketing to provider and health plan or insurance organizations
  • Experience supporting sophisticated sales organizations and technology-driven marketing teams
  • Basic understanding of content performance metrics and optimization approaches
