Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead the modernization and migration of enterprise UI applications from legacy frameworks to modern React and Next.js-based architectures
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high‑performance frontend applications
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
• Drive adoption of modern frontend best practices, including server-side rendering, component reusability, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with product, platform, backend, DevOps, and security teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
• Lead frontend architecture decisions for micro frontend and modular UI platforms
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows in collaboration with platform teams
• Ensure high quality through strong unit testing, end‑to‑end testing, and code reviews
• Support CI/CD pipelines and promote automation and engineering excellence
• Effectively communicate technical designs and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Comply with company policies, procedures, and directives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with React
• Solid experience with Next.js, including:
  • Server-side rendering (SSR)
  • API routes
  • Modern routing patterns
• Experience with state management libraries such as:
  • Redux
  • Redux Toolkit
  • Zustand
• Experience building reusable, component-based UI systems using modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS)
• Hands-on experience integrating UI applications with authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks:
  • Jest for unit testing
  • Cypress (or equivalent) for end‑to‑end testing
• Experience using CI/CD pipelines and source control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Experience working with micro frontend or modular frontend architectures
• Solid understanding of web application security and session management concepts
• Proven leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills
• Proven solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proven solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience migrating applications from Angular or other legacy frontend frameworks to React/Next.js
• Experience with micro frontend architectures or module‑federation-like patterns
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
• Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated domains
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and modern UI performance practices
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and frontend performance optimization
• Familiarity with SAFe or large-scale Agile frameworks
• Proven exposure to AI-assisted UI generation tools or design‑to‑code workflows
