Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the modernization and migration of enterprise UI applications from legacy frameworks to modern React and Next.js-based architectures
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, high‑performance frontend applications
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
- Drive adoption of modern frontend best practices, including server-side rendering, component reusability, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with product, platform, backend, DevOps, and security teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
- Lead frontend architecture decisions for micro frontend and modular UI platforms
- Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows in collaboration with platform teams
- Ensure high quality through strong unit testing, end‑to‑end testing, and code reviews
- Support CI/CD pipelines and promote automation and engineering excellence
- Effectively communicate technical designs and trade‑offs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Comply with company policies, procedures, and directives

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 6+ years of experience in frontend or full-stack software engineering
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with React
- Solid experience with Next.js, including:
- Server-side rendering (SSR)
- API routes
- Modern routing patterns
- Experience with state management libraries such as:
- Redux
- Redux Toolkit
- Zustand
- Experience building reusable, component-based UI systems using modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS)
- Hands-on experience integrating UI applications with authentication and authorization mechanisms
- Hands-on experience with frontend testing frameworks:
- Jest for unit testing
- Cypress (or equivalent) for end‑to‑end testing
- Experience using CI/CD pipelines and source control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
- Experience working with micro frontend or modular frontend architectures
- Solid understanding of web application security and session management concepts
- Proven leadership, mentoring, and collaboration skills
- Proven solid verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proven solid analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience migrating applications from Angular or other legacy frontend frameworks to React/Next.js
- Experience with micro frontend architectures or module‑federation-like patterns
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated domains
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and modern UI performance practices
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with cloud-based deployments and frontend performance optimization
- Familiarity with SAFe or large-scale Agile frameworks
- Proven exposure to AI-assisted UI generation tools or design‑to‑code workflows
