Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide primary production support for a critical P1 application, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance
- Actively monitor system health, troubleshoot, and resolve complex incidents and outages with a focus on minimizing downtime
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and DataDog to analyze logs, metrics, and traces for proactive issue detection and resolution
- Collaborate with development teams to analyze issues, identify root causes, and implement effective fixes promptly
- Maintain and enhance the application using strong development skills in technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
- Design, develop, and deploy automation scripts and tools to streamline support processes and improve operational efficiency
- Manage and optimize containerized environments using Kubernetes, ensuring scalable and resilient deployment architectures
- Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous integration and deployment processes
- Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to support cloud-based deployment and infrastructure management
- Participate in on-call rotations, providing 24/7 support for critical production issues
- Document support procedures, troubleshooting guidelines, and incident reports for knowledge sharing and future reference
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices to continually improve application support and stability

Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in production support and application development
- Hands on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch
- Cloud platform experience, including deployment and infrastructure management
- Experience working in high-pressure environments supporting critical applications
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline development and automation
- Proven well-versed in using monitoring and log analysis tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and DataDog
- Proven excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proven effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and documenting procedures
