Bring Six Sigma methodology and analytics into organizational operations in order to accomplish business objectives. This includes working with Six Sigma-certified professionals in the plan, design and accomplishment of key projects. Incumbents matched to this function require accredited Six Sigma training.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with Business Quality teams to provide end to end continuous quality improvement
- Use pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise
- Investigate non-standard requests and problems, with some assistance from others
- Work within a specific knowledge area
- Prioritize and organize own work to meet deadlines
- Provide explanations and information to others on topics within area of expertise
- Assess and interpret customer needs and requirements
- Drive projects leveraging AI/ML , New Gen Solutions or RPA solutions
- Work with minimal guidance
- Translate concepts into practice
- Act as a resource for others with less experience
- Consult and work with management in identifying process improvement opportunities
- Quantify quality results and trends and implement actionable improvements for the organization
- Champion coordination and collaboration in all project, quality and implementation activities
- Interact with internal business units to expand quality discipline in all functional areas of the department
- Participate in the design, development, implementation and monitoring of quality programs
- Serve as a catalyst for change
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Eligibility
To apply to an internal job, employees must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 27 and 28 can apply
- Grade 27 will move to 28, Grade 28 will move laterally
- Preferably minimum duration of 12 months of continuous service in their current grade and position. If employee has not completed one year in current role, please discuss interest with your reporting manager and seek alignment
- Performance rating in the last common review cycle of "Meets Expectations" or higher
- Not be on any active CAP (Corrective Action Plan) or active disciplinary action
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of total experience, 6+ years of experience in process improvement, quality management, project management and/or business analysis
- Six Sigma project experience (Black Belt experience or Green Belt Certification is a plus)
- Knowledge of structured problem-solving methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma, proficient in Project Management Tools and Techniques
- Understanding of the metrics used to measure performance
- Proven to work in a service or BPO setup in a matrix organization
- Excellent skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint. Excellent Six Sigma knowledge and BB mentoring skills
- Proven ability to be multifunctional, to work with appropriate departments for the development of reporting needs and educational / staff development needs
- Proven excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work independently and be self-directed while still supporting the team as a whole
- Proven excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills and ability to balance multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely and to ability to facilitate meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Seeks to understand the 'why' behind decisions, provides examples of when they have done so and how they translated this to the team
- Understanding of Quality programs and audit methodologies will be an added advantage
- Proven ability to create a business architecture to facilitate alignment of strategic objectives and tactical demands
- Proven solid consulting, relationship management and facilitation skills including the ability to listen and question to understand the business problem, analyse, provide insight and advice
- Proven ability to assess data model and data flows and facilitate automation and process design workshops
- Proven networks within their team, department, organization, industry, and community
- Proven advocates with senior leaders for change or for a new idea
- Proven to highlight the possibilities that exist, while acknowledging difficulties will exist when deciding
- Proven excellent written and verbal communication skills including persuasive, data-rich presentation skills
