As part of our clinical support team, you will be a key component in customer satisfaction and have a responsibility to make every contact informative, productive and positive. Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 8am-5pm MST. The flexibility to work evening hours will also be required. 

Location: 1655 E. Cactus Ave. Henderson, NV. Will be required to travel to other Henderson and Las Vegas locations for meetings, etc.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for other team members
  • Manage the intake of members or the admission/discharge information post notification 
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services
  • Manage the referral process, processing incoming and outgoing referrals and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Resolve inquiries from members and/or providers 
  • Coordinate moves with facilities (painters, repairs, etc.)
  • Manage device inventory
  • Collaborate with marketing team and other departments 
  • Assist with reporting
  • Part of the challenge here is dealing positively with members and providers in sometimes challenging circumstances. As a subject matter expert, you'll also be the "go-to" resource for information.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED 
  • 2+ years of experience in a customer service environment, analyzing and solving complex customer problems
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in the healthcare industry
  • 1+ years of experience interacting with providers on a regular basis in a provider relations and/or customer service role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic Microsoft Office Proficiency
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Experience working with health insurance
  • Experience in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • Clerical or administrative support background or experience working in a call center environment
  • Experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services
  • Project management experience in the healthcare industry
  • Experience leading enterprise-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving customer insights, business strategy, and organization transformation
  • 1+ years of experience supporting executive-level staff members
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and networking skills 

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.00 to $36.00 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
