Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manages retail pharmacy operations for designated site. Responsible for achievement of customer service, clinical initiative objectives, financial objectives, and regulatory compliance including serving as pharmacist-in-charge; adherence to professional practices and Kelsey- Seybold Clinic (KSC) and Kelsey Pharmacy policies and procedures, and management of all assigned personnel including students
  • Manages pharmacy personnel, provision of services, inventory, and overall profitability
  • Performs all duties of a registered pharmacist including accurate dispensing and counseling of prescriptions to customers

Required Qualifications:

  • BS or Pharm D College of Pharmacy
  • Current Texas Pharmacy license
  • 2+ years of retail pharmacy experience
  • Communication - able to communicate with Pharmacy Department personnel to delegate duties, inform about policies, train, assist with performance appraisals, and approve refunds/expense/returns
  • Excellent customer service skills and be able to serve as role model for excellent customer service
  • Ability to operate computer terminal for processing prescriptions
  • Stress Tolerance - able to make appropriate decisions and accurately process prescriptions in a high stress environment
  • Professional Appearance    
  • Driver's license and access to reliable transportation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • BCLS
  • Immunization Certification
  • Pharmacy Preceptor Certification
  • Experience as pharmacist-in-charge
  • HMO and 3rd party managed care experience


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
