Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is actively recruiting a Physician Assistant to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary Urology team. This PA will work alongside our Urologists and existing advanced practice providers to deliver exceptional patient care across a broad spectrum of urologic conditions, including General Urology, Urologic Oncology, Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery, and Men's Sexual Health.
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a genuine commitment to patient-centered care. They will interact positively with ancillary staff, respond promptly to referring physicians, and support the mission and philosophy of Kelsey-Seybold's group practice model.

Onboarding and Training
We are committed to setting our advanced practice providers up for long-term success. New PAs will undergo a structured onboarding program of at least 6 months, during which they will develop clinical competency with graduated independence under the mentorship of our Urology team. We anticipate a full 12-month onboarding period to ensure a thorough fund of knowledge and a strong comfort level across all aspects of the role before the PA transitions to fully independent practice.

Position Highlights:
Clinical & Outpatient Care

  • Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations on new and established patients
  • Provide autonomous, ongoing care for assigned patients across General Urology, Urologic Oncology, FMPRS and Men's Sexual Health
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies including laboratory tests and imaging.
  • Screen patients to assess need for escalated care or hospital admission
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within EPIC in accordance with Clinic policy

Surgical & Operative Support

  • Assist surgeons in the operating room for urologic procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted cases
  • Conduct pre-operative evaluations, patient counseling, and surgical preparation
  • Provide post-operative follow-up care in the outpatient clinic setting

Virtual Care

  • Conduct virtual/telehealth visits for appropriate patient populations, including follow-up care, prescription management, and symptom triage
  • Actively participate in Kelsey-Seybold's virtual health platform to expand access and continuity of care
  • Maintaining EPIC documentation guidelines per Clinic policy 

Office-Based Procedures

  • Perform and/or develop proficiency in: PTNS (Percutaneous Tibial Nerve Stimulation), Testopel pellet insertion, Foley/catheter changes, Prostate biopsies, Flexible cystoscopy
  • Pessary fitting and ongoing maintenance for female pelvic floor conditions

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Physician Assistant Studies 
  • Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current Physician Assistant licensure by the Texas State Medical Board

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) fluency

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $113,000 - $173,500. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
