This position is responsible for the scheduling of OR/Endoscopy cases for all KS SC, LLC Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Coordinates the procedures based on equipment, supply, anesthesia, and staffing needs. Communicates telephonically and via email with DSS for surgeons/ gastroenterologists, the ASC business office, and ASC nursing staff.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of healthcare experience and/or ambulatory surgery center environment
- Basic typing, computer skills, EPIC experience
- Proven excellent customer service skills, precise written and verbal communication skills, detail oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some college, business, or technical school 3 years of experience surgical scheduler or surgical technician
- 2+ years of hands-on experience scheduling surgical procedures in an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital setting
- Experience using an EHR or surgical scheduling system to build, modify, and audit surgery schedules (e.g., Epic, Athena, ModMed, Cerner)
- Proven independently managed OR or procedure schedules, including surgeon block time and case conflicts
- Proven coordinated directly with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing teams, and patients to resolve scheduling changes or day-of-surgery issues
- Proven supported or overseen pre-op readiness by ensuring required documentation, consents, and clinical clearances were completed prior to surgery
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
