We are seeking an experienced Adobe AEM Architect to lead the technical design, architecture, and implementation of enterprise-scale digital experience solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), solid Java backend development skills, and modern React-based front-end architecture experience. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance AEM solutions.
Primary Responsibilities:
- AEM Architecture and Technical Design
- Define end-to-end technical architecture for Adobe Experience Manager implementations (AEM as a Cloud Service / AEM 6.x)
- Create high-level and low-level design documents covering component architecture, content models, workflows, and integrations
- Design scalable and reusable AEM components, templates, dialogs, and services
- Lead technical decisions related to AEM best practices, performance optimization, security, and maintainability
- Development and Implementation
- Provide hands-on expertise in Java, OSGi, Sling Models, JCR, workflows, and AEM services
- Design and implement headless and hybrid AEM solutions using Content Fragments and GraphQL APIs
- Architect and guide React-based front-end applications integrated with AEM (SPA Editor or Headless AEM)
- Ensure implementation of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and code quality standards
- Integration and Ecosystem
- Design integrations with REST APIs, DAM, commerce platforms, SSO, analytics, and third-party systems
- Collaborate on Adobe ecosystem integrations such as Adobe Analytics, Target, Launch, and Assets
- Ensure smooth deployments with cloud, DevOps, and release management strategies
- Leadership and Collaboration
- Act as a technical lead and mentor for AEM development teams
- Conduct architectural reviews, code reviews, and technical workshops
- Collaborate with UX, product, and business teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Support pre-sales, estimations, and technical solutioning activities when required
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Solid experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture and development
- Hands-on experience with React.js, modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS
- Experience integrating React applications with AEM using SPA Editor or headless approaches
- Expertise in Java, J2EE, OSGi, Apache Sling, and JCR
- Solid understanding of RESTful services, GraphQL, and microservices architecture
- DevOps & Tools
- Experience with Maven, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with cloud environments and deployment strategies
- Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
- AEM-Specific Expertise
- AEM Sites, Assets, Workflows, MSM, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments
- Dispatcher configuration, performance tuning, caching strategies, and security best practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- Adobe AEM Architect or Developer certifications
- Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service
- Experience delivering large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs
- Exposure to commerce, personalization, or analytics solutions
- Proven solid communication and stakeholder management skills
