Positions in this function design and coordinate company communications, including internal and/or external communications. Responsible for maintaining policies and procedures and monitoring company media, which may include company websites. May manage public relations activities, including public information and shareholder information services.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
• Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations
• Total of 10+ years with 5+ years in internal, external communications
• 7+ years of professional writing and editing experience
• 7+ years of experience with intranets and social media (i.e. blogs, pod casting, etc.)
• 7+ years of experience with the full suite of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• 7+ years of demonstrated success in translating technical and scientific information into layman's terms
• 7+ years of experience coordinating several key stakeholders for communications materials
• 7+ years of experience developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans for internal communications initiatives
