Primary Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership & Strategy
  • Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for engineering teams, aligning with business goals and emerging technologies
  • Lead architecture decisions for scalable, secure, and cloud-native applications using Azure, .NET Core, Python, and JavaScript.
• Team Management & Mentorship
  • Manage and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide career development guidance, and support skill-building initiatives.
• Cloud & AI Enablement
  • Oversee the design and implementation of intelligent solutions using AzureAI, AI Builder, and Azure Synapse
  • Guide teams in integrating AI personas and cognitive services to enhance product capabilities and user experiences
• DevOps & Delivery Excellence
  • Champion CI/CD and DevSecOps practices to ensure secure, automated, and reliable software delivery
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize pipelines, infrastructure, and deployment strategies using Azure DevOps
• Quality Assurance & Automation
  • Establish quality standards and testing strategies using tools like AccelQ, ensuring robust and defect-free releases
  • Promote test-driven development and continuous integration practices across teams
• Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies effectively to leadership and cross-functional teams
• Innovation & Tooling
  • Encourage the adoption of modern development tools like GitHub Copilot to boost productivity and code quality
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies that align with business needs and improve engineering efficiency
• Governance & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements across all development activities
  • Lead incident response and root cause analysis for critical production issues
• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Technical Expertise:
  • Proven experience in software development using Python, C#, JavaScript, and .NET Core
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with AccelQ or similar test automation platforms
  • Deep understanding of Azure cloud services including Azure Synapse, Azure Service Bus, COSMOS DB, and AzureAI
  • Solid grasp of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies, with practical implementation in enterprise environments
  • Familiarity with AI Builder and persona-driven AI development for intelligent applications
  • Proficient in using GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted development and team productivity
• Leadership & Management:
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects on time and within scope
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
• Strategic & Analytical Thinking:
  • Experience in stakeholder management and communicating effectively with senior leadership
  • Solid problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Ability to align technical strategy with business objectives and drive innovation across teams
• Process & Quality Focus:
  • Experience in establishing and enforcing coding standards, testing strategies, and release governance
  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Commitment to engineering excellence, code quality, and continuous improvement

Preferred Qualification:

• Relevant certifications in Azure, DevOps, or AI/ML
