This role requires to book month end Journals and Reconciliations and perform revenue and membership reports along with Revenue Analysis as part of SOX compliance for assigned markets

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Different Revenue accruals, blackline reconciliations and SOX analysis for aligned markets
  • Membership accrual JE and reports need to be analyzed and sent timely to the stakeholders
  • Coordinate with onshore counterpart for any ad-hoc journals
  • Review the legacy disconnect reports and post the Journals basing on the analysis during month closes and timely working with Ops team on resolving the issues
  • Timely documenting the process changes for assigned deliverables and periodically reviewing the documentation to ensure it is up to date
  • Work collaboratively as a team player to address process queries
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Commerce
  • 2+ years of  accounting experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel - experience of handling large datasets
  • Working knowledge on Excel, Essbase and PeopleSoft
  • Solid Accounting Background, Understanding of SG&A accounting
  • Good understanding of General Ledger and chart field attributes
  • Proven ability to develop and establish financial polices and procedures; Ability to work on huge data, perform reporting and analysis
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and to prepare accurate reports
  • Proven not afraid to ask questions, chase folks and ensure tasks are being completed on time
  • Proven good Interpersonal skills and Analytical skills
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
  • Proven solid in MS Access and ability to work on huge data
  • Proven ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Work experience on GL
  • Work experience on SAS tool
  • Knowledge on Fin360 application
  • Moderate MS Excel & MS Access
