Design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering solutions that support analytics, reporting, and modernization initiatives across enterprise platforms. Develop and optimize ETL / ELT pipelines, reusable datasets, and transformation logic using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL. Support modernization of legacy reporting solutions by helping translate business logic from platforms such as Cognos into modern cloud-based data and reporting solutions. Partner with reporting and analytics teams to prepare curated, reporting-ready data assets for Power BI and related dashboarding solutions. Build and enhance AI-enabled analytics and reporting capabilities, including support for AI-driven summaries, natural-language data exploration, and AI-assisted dashboard or insight generation. Contribute to AI-focused solution development using platforms such as Databricks Genie, AI/BI capabilities, and related tools that improve productivity, insight generation, and analytics accessibility. Support development of semantic and metrics layer capabilities to improve consistency, governance, and reuse of business logic across analytics and reporting assets. Prepare and maintain technical artifacts such as metadata, data dictionaries, schema documentation, and supporting materials needed for governed data and AI solutions. Assist with environment-based delivery and operational support across development, test, and production environments, including deployment coordination, validation, and platform readiness activities. Collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics needs into scalable, production-aligned data and AI solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• Power BI experience
• Hands-on Databricks and Snowflake experience
• Production delivery and support experience
• Experience with the use of AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Codex)
• Advanced SQL and solid data-troubleshooting capabilities
• Proven solid data-validation skills
• Demonstrated end-to-end ownership
• Proven solid production troubleshooting
• Proven clear communication with business partners, engineers, and product owners

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cognos experience
• Databricks Genie or AI/BI experience
• Python and Pyspark experience
• Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines
• Unity Catalog, metadata, lineage, and governed-data experience
• CI/CD, Git, and deployment automation experience
• Experience supporting financial, billing, payment, delinquency, or membership reporting
