We are looking for a Test Automation Architect who will be predominantly involved in conducting maturity assessments, creating test automation solutions for validating applications across the product stack, conducting tool and solution fitment analysis for existing automation use cases, and identifying the right tools and solutions for building new or enhancing existing automation patterns. The successful candidate will be a primary contributor in developing and implementing test solutions and frameworks for optimization, supporting all types of application testing, and establishing standard operating procedures and methodologies to deliver business value. This role has a primary focus on ideating and developing full stack (Web, API, and Data) test solutions and capabilities across new-age technologies including RPA, Cloud, and AI/ML

Primary Skills include SDET, TCOE, Test Automation, Automation Frameworks (Playwright/Robot Framework/WebDriver-enabled frameworks), Puppeteer, Katalon Studio, Appium, Postman, BDD Data Driven, Web and API test automation, Java/Python, SQL, Selenium, REST Assured or any API testing/Service Virtualization suite, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Test Data Management, Azure infrastructure, and US healthcare domain knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of 10-15 members
• Act as lead technologist in Quality Assurance and Engineering, shaping best practices across tools, processes, and development with an emphasis on automation and rolling out the TCOE
• Lead the Automation CoE including planning, designing, building, and maintaining complex Test Automation Frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword, Hybrid, Descriptive Programming) using Playwright/Cypress/Selenium, REST Assured, and Karate Framework
• Maintain in-depth understanding of mainstream and emerging technology standards and advancements in software test automation
• Collaborate with project teams to strategize and align long-term solutions for automation including roadmap, tools, framework, and approach
• Define automation processes to bridge gaps between as-is processes and industry standard best practices, and pilot these on selected projects
• Identify and implement continuous improvement and optimization techniques to reduce waste across the test lifecycle driven by data insights
• Provide guidance, training, and mentoring project teams and test engineers for the implementation of test automation processes and best practices
• Ensure adherence to TCOE automation testing processes and standards
• Document automation frameworks, test harnesses, coding principles, and standards with effective written and verbal communication skills

Required Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in quality engineering and automation testing
• Experience leading or managing high-performance teams of 5-8 members
• Experience working with modern web technologies (React, Angular, AEM) and integration systems (API/microservices) and cloud-hosted healthcare platforms such as Facets and interoperability services
• Experience creating test strategy and test plans for large transformation/migration programs or product development
• Hands-on experience conducting maturity assessments, gap analysis, and building roadmaps to improve overall testing maturity across functional and non-functional testing throughout the STLC
• Test automation experience with framework development and implementation using prominent design patterns including Robot/BDD/ATDD/Hybrid or Data-Driven frameworks
• Solid hands-on experience implementing test frameworks and solutions for web, desktop, and API using market-leading and open-source tools across the application stack (Playwright, Selenium, TestComplete, Katalon, REST Assured, Ready API, or custom solutions using Spring Boot/Spring Application Framework/Postman)
• Experience in performance testing including workload modelling, load, stress, and endurance testing using JMeter/LoadRunner and Dynatrace or other performance monitoring tools
• Experience implementing continuous improvements and optimization techniques by deriving data insights using standard measurement frameworks and lifecycle automation using Lean principles
• Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases including MS SQL and MongoDB, with the ability to write complex queries and stored procedures
• Experience working on cloud-based applications (Azure preferred) and cloud test/execution platforms such as Sauce Labs and BrowserStack
• Experience managing automation code using standard code repository tools (Git/GitHub or SVN) and implementing continuous integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar tools
• Experience implementing GitHub Copilot capabilities in test automation and code optimization
• Experience with AI test platforms such as BrowserStack, AccelQ, and LambdaTest
• Experience in implementing Generative AI and Agentic AI tools and capabilities across the testing lifecycle
• Solid US healthcare payer/provider domain knowledge
• Proven solid coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript; Java and Python are advantageous
• Proven exposure to RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, etc.) and machine learning algorithms is an added advantage
• Proven solid team player with a technology enthusiast mindset and effective communication skills
• Demonstrate thought leadership through creation of POVs, white papers, and technical documentation, and actively participate in tech talks, seminars, and knowledge sharing sessions
