Primary Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leadership to manage user stories and project commitments in an agile framework, rapidly delivering value to customers
- Mentor and lead engineering teams to perform at a high level, fostering growth and accountability
- Manage multiple geographically distributed Scrum teams, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and timely delivery across time zones
- Own the technology stack and drive modern, innovative solutions to complex problems across the application portfolio
- Ensure compliance with employment terms, company policies, and directives, including flexibility in work arrangements and evolving business needs
- Provide leadership and accountability for the performance of individual contributors
- Continuously improve applications across design, build, deploy, test, and runtime phases within cloud ecosystems
- Contribute to full software development lifecycle including design, development, unit testing, system testing, and test automation
- Develop and maintain software components using modern technologies such as Java/J2EE, Angular, React, Microservices, Apache Kafka, and Spring
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a distributed and dynamic platform
- Prioritize and manage work to meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with geographically distributed Agile teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Support quality engineering efforts, including mentoring, assistance, and writing/executing automation tests as needed
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with solid proficiency in Java/J2EE and SpringBoot
- 3+ years of experience managing, mentoring and leading engineering teams
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in production cloud (public or private)
- 1+ years of experience integrating Generative AI capabilities into enterprise applications
- Hands-on experience using design patterns
- Hands-on experience delivering engineering solutions in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools : Build tools (Maven, ANT, Gradle or equivalent), Source control tools(Git, GitHub, SVN or equivalent)
- Experience setting up CI/CD and continuous testing pipelines
- Experience with modern open-source technologies including Kafka and Kubernetes
- Experience working in the healthcare industry or other regulated environments
- Solid experience in software architecture and solution design
- Solid understanding of SCRUM and Agile best practices
- Hands-on knowledge in PL/SQL and Oracle database
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles including algorithms, data structures, schemas, queries, system design, unit testing, code reviews, Agile, and DevOps
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption of AI copilots for engineering and business operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives to embed generative AI into CI/CD pipelines for intelligent automation and code quality insights
