Senior Quality Engineer II - Selenium, JUnit, TestNG

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and implement test strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with product requirements
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
• Integrate testing processes into CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and coverage
• Identify, track, and drive resolution of defects, including root cause analysis
• Conduct performance and scalability testing to ensure system reliability
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in an Agile environment
• Provide quality metrics, reports, and insights to stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers and promote quality best practices and standards
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tools with AI enabled skills

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing or quality engineering
• Proven experience in manual and automated testing
• Solid background in test strategy, planning, and execution
• Technical Skills (Typical):
  • Solid experience in manual and automated testing
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
  • Knowledge in  programming/scripting (Java, Python, JavaScript)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, APIs, microservices testing
  • Proficiency in tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG
  • Proven excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills
• Process & Methodology:
  • Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Experience in shift-left testing and continuous testing practices
  • Knowledge of test lifecycle, defect management, and QA methodologies

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Solid communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead QA initiatives
• Detail-oriented with a solid focus on quality and customer experience

Preferred Qualification:

• Master's degree
