We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Microsoft .NET technologies to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineering team. The role requires strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, SQL Server, REST APIs, Azure, and modern software engineering practices, along with the ability to contribute to architecture and design decisions. The engineer will work closely with architects, product owners, developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and deliver reliable software throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). As a senior engineer, the individual is expected to demonstrate technical ownership, mentor team members, participate in design and architecture discussions, proactively identify technical improvements, and contribute to the evolution of the IAM platform.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Software Development
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using C# and Microsoft .NET/.NET Core
  • Develop scalable and maintainable RESTful APIs, backend services, and web applications
  • Participate in all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, production support, and maintenance
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code following established coding standards and engineering best practices
  • Develop solutions that meet requirements for security, scalability, availability, performance, and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments
• Architecture & Technical Design
  • Participate actively in architecture, solution design, and technical design discussions
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
  • Contribute to application architecture, API design, database design, integration patterns, and technology decisions
  • Evaluate new technologies, tools, frameworks, and techniques that can improve engineering productivity and application capabilities
  • Identify opportunities to modernize existing applications and improve scalability, reliability, and maintainability
• Database & Performance
  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data access components
  • Perform SQL profiling, query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning
  • Investigate application and database performance issues and identify root causes
  • Analyze application performance and implement appropriate optimization strategies
• Azure & DevOps
  • Develop and support applications deployed in Microsoft Azure environments
  • Work with Azure services and cloud-native application patterns
  • Work with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipelines for build, test, deployment, and release automation.
  • Support containerized applications and modern cloud deployment practices where applicable
  • Troubleshoot application and deployment issues across cloud and non-production/production environments
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive development, testing, deployment, and operational activities
• Agile & Collaboration
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including story grooming/refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Scrum Masters, QA engineers, and other development teams
  • Provide technical estimates and identify dependencies, risks, and potential implementation challenges
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers
  • Communicate technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Production Support & Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze and investigate production and non-production application issues
  • Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions rather than temporary fixes
  • Monitor application health, performance, and reliability
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, development processes, and engineering practices
  • Develop common utilities, reusable components, and automation solutions to improve organizational efficiency
  • Contribute to technical documentation, coding standards, engineering guidelines, and knowledge-sharing activities

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with C# and Microsoft .NET/.NET Core
• Solid experience with ASP.NET Core and RESTful API development
• Solid experience with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Hands-on experience with SQL profiling, query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning
• Experience working with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps/CI/CD
• Experience with unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean code practices
• Solid understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proven solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience developing Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), or security-related applications
• Experience with authentication and authorization protocols and technologies, such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, or Microsoft Entra ID
• Experience with Angular, React, or other modern frontend frameworks
• Experience with Azure Key Vault, Managed Identity, App Configuration, Application Gateway, Azure Container Apps, or other Azure services
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications
• Experience with infrastructure automation and Terraform
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems and third-party APIs
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, messaging, or event-driven architectures
• Knowledge of application security, secure coding practices, and OWASP principles
