Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications

• Build REST APIs and microservices using Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus) and Python

• Develop reusable, maintainable, and high-quality code following coding standards

• Participate in system design and technical architecture discussions

• Perform code reviews and ensure best practices are followed

• Application Design & Architecture

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

• Create technical design documents and architecture diagrams

• Design microservices-based and cloud-native applications

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability

• DevOps & CI/CD Implementation

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

• Automate build, deployment, and release processes

• Implement containerization using Docker

• Manage and deploy applications on Kubernetes environments

• Improve deployment efficiency and reduce manual activities

• Data Engineering & Workflow Automation

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Apache Airflow

• Automate data processing and integration workflows

• Monitor workflow execution and resolve production issues

• Ensure data quality and reliability across systems

• AI/ML Solution Development

• Develop and integrate AI/ML models into business applications

• Work with data scientists to deploy ML solutions into production

• Build APIs/services that consume AI/ML models

• Monitor model performance and support model retraining activities

• Explore Generative AI and intelligent automation opportunities

• Cloud Platform Engineering

• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Implement cloud-native services and infrastructure

• Monitor cloud resources, performance, and costs

• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of cloud solutions

• Database Development & Management

• Design and optimize database schemas.

• Develop efficient SQL queries and stored procedures

• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance

• Agile Project Delivery

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews

• Estimate development efforts and track progress

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders

• Deliver features within agreed timelines and quality standards

• Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop unit, integration, and automation tests

• Support UAT and production releases

• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects

• Ensure adherence to quality and security standards

• Production Support & Continuous Improvement

• Monitor production systems and resolve incidents

• Perform root cause analysis for critical issues

• Implement performance improvements and system enhancements

• Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization

• Comply with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and business directives, changes including those relating to work location, team assignments, work schedules, and flexible work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of IT Experience - 
• Solid understanding of core programming concepts with hands-on experience in modern technologies such as Java (Spring Boot, Quarkus), Python, Jenkins, Airflow, GitHub, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Proven experience and solid knowledge of software development, programming fundamentals, and database concepts, working primarily with a core programming language
• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful IT and business-critical software projects end to end
• Good understanding of key delivery lifecycle artefacts, including functional requirements, technical design documents, and testing documentation
• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience in implementing AI/ML models in real-world solutions. Exposure to cloud platforms
• Proven self-motivated team player with a solid focus on action, results, and continuous improvement.
• Exposure to and experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions
