The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is a software-driven operations engineer responsible for improving the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud-based systems.


As a Junior SRE, you will support the design, implementation, and operation of cloud platforms on GCP and Azure, working closely with development, platform, and security teams. You will contribute to automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and incident response while continuously building expertise in DevOps and DevSecOps practices.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Infrastructure & Reliability
    • Assist in provisioning and managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools (e.g., Terraform)
    • Support high availability, scalability, and resilience patterns
    • Help monitor SLIs/SLOs and improve system reliability
    • Participate in capacity planning and performance testing
  • Monitoring & Incident Response
    • Configure monitoring and alerting (Azure Monitor, GCP Ops, Prometheus, Grafana)
    • Participate in on-call rotations and incident handling
    • Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • CI/CD & GitOps
    • Support CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
    • Implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows
    • Follow Git best practices and contribute to GitOps adoption
  • DevSecOps
    • Assist with security scans and vulnerability remediation
    • Work with secret management tools (Key Vault, Secret Manager)
    • Ensure compliance with security standards
  • Automation & Operations
    • Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
    • Maintain runbooks and documentation
    • Support deployments and operational tasks
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in SRE / DevOps / Cloud Engineering
  • Knowledge of Cloud platforms: Azure or GCP
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
  • Knowledge of Scripting: Python / Shell
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools
  • Proven problem solving and troubleshooting
  • Proven solid communication skills
  • Proven automation-first mindset
  • Proven ability to work in fast-paced environments
