We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Engineer/BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and business intelligence solutions using tools such as Informatica, Talend, Azure Databricks, and MSBI suite (Power BI, SSIS, SSRS, Tableau). The ideal candidate will have experience in data integration, transformation, and visualization to support data-driven decision-making.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • ETL Development & Data Integration:
    • Design and implement ETL workflows using Informatica and/or Talend
    • Develop and optimize data pipelines in Azure Databricks using PySpark or Scala
    • Integrate data from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files) into data warehouses or data lakes
  • Data Warehousing & Modeling:
    • Design and maintain data models and data warehouses
    • Implement data quality checks, error handling, and performance tuning
  • Business Intelligence & Reporting:
    • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau
    • Create and manage reports using SSRS
    • Build and deploy data transformation packages using SSIS
  • Cloud & Big Data:
    • Work with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Azure Synapse)
    • Leverage Databricks for large-scale data processing and machine learning workflows
  • Collaboration & Documentation:
    • Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to gather requirements
    • Document data flows, architecture, and technical specifications
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Databricks
  • Solid SQL skills and experience with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.)
  • Familiarity with BI tools: Power BI, Tableau, SSRS
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance principles
  • Proficiency in ETL tools: Informatica, Talend, SSIS

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Certifications in Azure, Informatica, or BI tools
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Programming knowledge in Python, Scala, or Java
