Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop scalable, high-quality applications using React JS (frontend) and FastAPI (backend)
  • Design clean, maintainable code with solid focus on performance and reusability
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend/frontend engineers to deliver intuitive UI features
  • Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces following best practices
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs using FastAPI
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness across platforms
  • Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automate build and deployment processes
  • Monitor applications, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance
  • Explore new tools/technologies and contribute to proof-of-concepts (POCs)
  • Document technical designs, APIs, and reusable components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams
  • Support and mentor junior developers when needed
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience
  • Solid experience with:
    • Experience building backend services using Python FastAPI
    • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
    • React JS, hooks, component architecture
    • JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript
    • HTML5, CSS3, responsive design
    • Good understanding of REST APIs, API design, and integration
    • Familiarity with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar)
    • Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
    • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
    • Understanding of Docker / containerization basics
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
    • Basic knowledge of microservices architecture
    • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
    • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Solid communication and teamwork abilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with Next.js
  • Experience with application monitoring/logging tools
  • Exposure to Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka or similar)
