Software Engineering Lead - Java and DevOps

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engineering focus on enriching the Customer Experience through high quality functional delivery, efficiency, testability, reliability, scalability, availability, and security of applications
• Create and execute automated tests using Selenium to ensure product quality
• Perform thorough manual testing to identify any potential issues with software performance
• Collaborate with the development team to improve product quality through testing

• Develop and maintain well-structured test plans and test cases

• Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in software development
• Solid hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot for building scalable backend services
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services including AKS, App Services, and Azure DevOps
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and driving engineering excellence
• Architecture & Design Experience designing distributed systems, APIs, and cloud-native applications
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and microservices deployment
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code
• Proven exposure to AI/ML concepts, frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and integration into enterprise applications
• Leadership & Management Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
• Proven solid stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proven Soft Skills Strategic thinking with a problem-solving mindset
• Proven ability to mentor and grow engineering talent
• Proven solid collaboration and decision-making skills
