Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on work for design and development of new features, maintenance on existing features, repair of defects found in Production, performance of proactive and reactive operations tasks, some of which might be urgent in nature
• Be able to work with IT and business teams to design complex systems and projects
• Be able to reach across the division to work with other enterprise architects in design and code reviews, problem resolution and define IT based solutions for critical business problems and opportunities
• Implement the Designed User Interfaces by following all the industry best practices and recommendations
• Design and implement API, database programming and micro-services, and build CI/CD pipelines
• Validate the software developed and fix any potential defects before deploying into higher versions and production
• Build product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Create innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business and to improve the overall health and reliability of the applications
• Define coding standards and best practices

• Coach and mentor other developers in the team

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and delivering commercial application software. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science/Electronics/Electrical or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Cloud
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing web applications on the Java platform (Java, Spring Boot) or Node.js related frameworks
• Solid experience in developing User Interfaces with SPA Tech (Angular -version 18 and above)
• Experience in providing technical guidance consistent with best practices, and ensuring these best practices are applied consistently by development teams
• Experience creating code version management strategy and working knowledge of version control systems like GitHub/ TFS/SVN
• Experience conducting design and code reviews
• Experience working in teams that follow an agile development methodology (ex: Iterative, Scrum, Safe, Kanban, etc.)
• Exposure to complete software product lifecycle encompassing requirements analysis, prototyping, architecture, design, development, testing and deployment
• Exposure to Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
• Solid knowledge of RDBMS and experience working with MySQL/SQL Server/Oracle
• Fundamental knowledge of algorithms and data structures. Sound understanding of basic operating system and networking concepts
• Sound knowledge and experience of unit testing methodologies and frameworks (e.g., MOQ)
• Proficiency in applying object-oriented principles, microservices architecture, and other recommended design patterns to create robust, cost-efficient, and scalable system designs for on-prem or cloud environments
• Proven ability to independently troubleshoot problems and zero in on the likely root causes
• Proven ability to define and drive improvements in the overall quality including automation, code coverage and inspection processes
