Primary Responsibilities:
- Planning the release of software deliverables and release-related activities
- Develop and implement release strategies and schedules
- Lead release coordination activities with project management, software development, quality assurance, operations, DevOps and other departments to ensure successful product delivery
- Manage release processes for enhancement from testing through and production delivery
- Lead and coordinate the go-live activities including the gathering and execution of the deployment plans and checklists
- Schedule and conduct Deployment Plan Review meetings to discuss the tasks, timings and responsibilities related to releases
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews for go-live
- Communicate release details and schedules to the stakeholders
- Provide continuous improvement feedback to the release process
- Identify the risks that can delay the release and manage them so that the scope, schedule, and quality of the release are not affected
- Ensure deployments are properly staffed
- Team with relevant development teams responsible for building the automation tools used to develop and deploy the software
- Maintain documentation related to procedures on build and release, various notification lists, and dependencies
- Monitor and report on release performance metrics, driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Continually working towards making improvements in the release process
- Maintaining a release repository and manage key information such as build and release procedures, dependencies, and notification lists
- Leverage AI copilots and LLM‑based tools to analyze release risk signals using logs, metrics, deployment history, and change data to support informed release decisions
- Produce AI‑assisted summaries of deployment readiness, incident patterns, and post‑release outcomes to enable faster stakeholder alignment and executive visibility
- Generate impact assessments, change narratives, and leadership‑ready release communications using AI to improve clarity, consistency, and speed of execution
- Utilize AI‑driven observability and AIOps platforms to detect anomalies before and after deployments and proactively reduce production risk
- Correlate release activity with performance, latency, error trends, and service health indicators to identify early warning signals and prevent customer impact
- Apply AI‑based techniques for predictive risk scoring of changes, supporting safer high‑frequency and concurrent release cycles
- Automate validation of release checklists, controls, and guardrails to ensure compliance with release governance and operational standards
- Drive continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and release workflows through AI‑driven insights, automation, and data‑informed optimizations
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- PMP
- Experience with ITIL Service Management framework, SDLC
- Experience with (CI/CD) tools
- Risk management experience
- AGILE familiarity or experience
- Configuration management experience
- Release Management experience
- Change Management experience
