JOB TITLE:    Lead Software Engineer

LOCATION:    909 Hidden Ridge Dr, Suite 200, Irving, TX, 75038 (Position reports to the Irving, TX office and allows for partial telecommuting.)

DUTIES:    Design, architect, and develop complex, large-scale software applications in compliance with enterprise-grade standards, security frameworks, and best practices for regulated environments. Collaborate with product managers, solution architects, UX designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate intricate business requirements into highly optimized technical specifications and cloud-native architectures. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, driving adoption of advanced design patterns, Infrastructure-asCode principles, and secure coding practices. Conduct rigorous code and architecture reviews to enforce compliance with performance, resiliency, and HIPAA/HITRUST security mandates. Troubleshoot and resolve mission-critical production issues across distributed systems, leveraging deep knowledge of microservices, API gateways, and event-driven architectures. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies-such as service mesh, and advanced observability frameworks-and integrate them into platform modernization initiatives. Lead planning, estimation, and execution of multi-phase development projects, ensuring zero-downtime deployments, automated compliance validation, and alignment with strategic business objectives. Position reports to the Irving, TX office and allows for partial telecommuting.

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of experience in the position offered or a computer-related occupation. Position requires 3 years experience in each of the following: Infrastructure-as-Code orchestration and enterprise-grade Azure application engineering for multi-region cloud ecosystems, Terraform module composition, and secure Key Vault integration alongside virtual network segmentation, private endpoint configuration, storage account lifecycle governance, and event-driven architectures utilizing Azure Event Hubs with deterministic failover strategies. Cloud security engineering in HIPAA-regulated environments, including cryptographic key rotation choreography, PHI pseudonymization/tokenization pipelines across distributed systems. Continuous Integration and Delivery frameworks implementing declarative pipelines (Jenkins DSL or GitHub Actions) with multi-stage gating, policy-as-code enforcement, bluegreen/canary deployment orchestration, and automated rollback for mission-critical workloads. GitHub Actions workflow authoring for containerized microservices, incorporating secrets management, compliance validation gates, and environment promotion integrated with Helmbased AKS deployments. Identity and API governance across IDX and enterprise API gateways, implementing OIDC/OAuth2 token and claim models, mTLS enforcement, hierarchical rate-limiting, DLP/redaction policies, and pre-publish guardrail engines for zero-defect onboarding. Distribute search and analytics engineering using OpenSearch/Elasticsearch with Index Lifecycle Management (ILM). Event streaming architecture with Azure Event Hubs with schema registry integration JSON Schema, Avro, and Protobuf. Service mesh security engineering using Istio for end-to-end mTLS, traffic segmentation, and zero-trust enforcement across Kubernetes clusters hosting regulated healthcare workloads. Implementing Guardian-based RBAC provisioning and tenancy models, ensuring least-privilege access and auditability. Drive analytics modernization by engineering ingestion pipelines and dashboards, PHI-compliant data processing, and executive reporting at multi-terabyte scale. and * API Gateway architecture and security engineering leveraging Spring Cloud Gateway for enterprise-scale traffic orchestration, implementing OIDC/OAuth2 token and claim models, mutual TLS (mTLS) enforcement, hierarchical rate-limiting algorithms, combined with reactive programming paradigms Project Reactor.

RATE OF PAY:  $175,000.00-$218,880.00/per year
