This position will provide inventory management and tracking of FedEx shipments, boxing equipment for shipping, submitting tickets to show work performed, distribute peripherals to users, dispose of equipment as necessary, and work with Desktop and Computer Technicians on asset management.
This position is full time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management
Maintain accurate hardware inventory of computer assets and peripherals at the warehouse location and as they are transferred to storage facilities and office locations
- Responsible for all outbound tracking for IT equipment related to remote employees OR remote sites
Daily tracking of shipment status for equipment sent for new hires
Report problematic statuses (not delivered, delivery exceptions) as necessary to ensure delivery
Work with FedEx and Distribution Center personnel as needed for escalation
- Ship out return boxes for equipment retrievals / recoveries related to terminated employees or malfunctioning equipment returns
- ServiceNow Ticket Completion
Work assigned tickets to meet turnaround time expectations. Record appropriate details regarding issue and resolution
- Maintain IT supplies and supply requests and ship out remote supplies
Work with hardware inventory system, other technicians and IT procurement to maintain stock level of peripheral devices needed for successful provisioning
- Assist with batch shipments for remote users
Assemble peripheral kits (mouse, keyboard, monitors, proper cabling)
FedEx label creation, inventory updating
- Assist Event Technicians as needed with Event computer asset management
Computer data imaging and uploading
Inventory management assistance
- Direct liaison for shipping issues
Assist in all shipping / distribution center issues for escalation purposes
POC for all supervisors for status updates for remote / IT shipping issues
- Create / Modify / and Delete Hardware Inventory Entries
- IT Asset Disposal
Process disposals for IT Operations departments to properly dispose of non-functioning OR aged items
POC with UnitedHealth Group and IT Security for disposal process
Assist IT Security in the disposal / shred of data bearing devices following UHG security procedures
- Specialty runs
Work with shipping department to move assets from one building to another as needed OR special assistance requests

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Experience following established procedures and maintaining accurate, detailed documentation and records.
- Experience performing physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and moving packages weighing up to 35 lbs, with occasional assisted handling of items exceeding 50 lbs.
- Must reside within 45 miles to the office 3237 Airport Road, La Crosse WI 54603

Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift experience
- Experience with a ticketing system
- Basic IT Knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
As a requirement of UnitedHealth Group's contract with the Department of Defense, this position requires U.S. citizenship and proof of favorable adjudication following submission of Department of Defense eQuip Form SF86, (the National Agency Check Legal and Credit or NACLC). Successful completion of the NACLC process is a requirement for continued employment in this role. NACLC processing will be initiated by our TRICARE Security Officer post-offer and can take 3-6 months for a final decision communication from the Department of Defense. Candidates will be allowed to begin employment with UnitedHealth Group in this role based on an interim clearance, and final results will be communicated as they are received. Failure to obtain final NACLC approval will result in termination from this role.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
