As the Division Hospice Quality & Patient Experience (PX) Lead, you will be accountable for coordination of an integrated Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement program in the assigned Division. This position is responsible for oversight of licensure and certification readiness, as well as Hospice provider quality performance and patient care excellence monitoring and improvement activities. You must be able to anticipate the quality and regulatory needs of the Division, including Regional Hospice Quality and PX Coordinator needs, and take appropriate action.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor Division hospice quality, performance improvement, and survey readiness, including CMS Hospice Quality Reporting Program measures, internal quality metrics, survey outcomes, and state/federal regulatory compliance
- Ensure completion and quality of Regional Hospice Quality & Patient Experience (PX) deliverables, including action plans, PIPs, audits, executive summaries, and participation in Division, RVP, and agency quality calls
- Provide consultative support to regions and agencies through root cause analysis, action planning, performance improvement strategies, targeted education, and engagement support for locations with quality or regulatory risk
- Train, mentor, and provide direct oversight as needed for Regional Hospice Quality & PX Coordinators and assigned hospice providers, including survey readiness assessments and inter‑rater reliability activities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and divisional resource for hospice quality, patient experience, and survey readiness initiatives, collaborating with Operations and Quality leadership and supporting performance evaluations and strategic projects

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare‑related field required, Associate's degree acceptable for RN candidates only
- Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice
- 5+ years of healthcare experience
- Knowledge of CMS Hospice Quality Reporting Program measures
- Understanding of CMS Conditions of Participation and state licensing standards
- Computer literacy, including Hospice Patient Management Systems, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proven solid presentation and communication skills with the ability to deliver clear, concise information to large audiences, including virtual settings
- Proven effective team‑building skills, particularly when working with remote teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Certification in Healthcare Quality
- Hospice experience
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
