Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 10am - 6pm, Tuesday 11-7pm , Friday 8am - 4pm . Saturday or Sunday per month.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conducts routine tests, including visual acuity, auto-refractor, and visual field
  • Complete eye exam and check eyeglass prescription
  • Operating and maintaining equipment, such as automated visual field analyzers and optical coherence tomography (OCT) machines
  • Providing patients with educational materials and explanations of results
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Obtain prior authorizations as necessary
  • Assist with other specialties within the suite as necessary
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent experience
  • Customer service experience and solid computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. Open 5 days a week, Monday through Friday and 1 Sunday per month, Candidate would have 2 days off
  • Candidates must be able to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ophthalmic Technician experience
  • Operated OCT  &IOL
  • Perform Visual Field for Glacoma
  • Perform eye pressure - Tonopen


Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 to $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
