You'll help manage employer and member contributions, ensure accurate fund accounting, support financial reporting, and uphold the integrity of plan funding and disbursements. This position is full-time on- site (40 hours / week), Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work weekends or overtime.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be based on schedule or will be discussed on your first day of employment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Manages Vendor payments for multiple Taft Hartley and Association trust funds
- Validates GL coding for payment requests
- Validates proper authorization of payment request
- Processes check and ACH request including issuing checks and ACH's for multiple trusts
- Resolves issues with payment requests
- Assists with opening, sorting, and preparing mail for distribution
- Processes cash receipts and makes deposits at banks
- Reconciles deposits for posting accuracy
- Completes bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end close
- Maintaining our auditors relationships

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED OR equivalent work experience.
- Must be 18 years of age OR older.
- 1+ years of relevant experience in accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (A/P), Accounts Receivable (A/R), and General Ledger.
- 1+ years' experience in Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookup data validation & Filtering)
- Accounting software such as Dynamics/Great Plains (Data Entry, AP, bank reconciliation, month-end closing support) within an accounting role
- Ability to work in office located in 230 Lexington Green Cir, Ste 400, Lexington, 40503
- Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Taft Hartley fund administration
- Experience with banking institutions including soft and hard tokens and ACH initiation
Soft Skills:
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $20.38 - $36.44 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
