Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements, new features, and configuration changes prior to production release
  • Validate system functionality against documented business requirements, acceptance criteria, and credit policy guidelines
  • Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts, including positive, negative, and edge case scenarios
  • Test and validate credit and underwriting configurations, such as policy rules, score thresholds, pricing, tiering, and eligibility logic
  • Confirm underwriting outcomes align with approved business intent and policy documentation
  • Identify, document, and track defects or configuration issues, clearly outlining reproduction steps and expected vs actual results
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to support defect triage, retesting, and regression testing
  • Verify defect resolution prior to final UAT approval and production deployment
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders (Credit, Operations, Compliance) and technical teams during testing cycles
  • Provide clear testing updates, defect summaries, and UAT feedback to stakeholders
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of testing processes, documentation, and standards
  • Support audit, compliance, or validation inquiries by providing testing evidence and system behavior documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands on experience executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Quality Assurance, or Business Systems Testing for production systems
  • 2+ years of experience testing credit, underwriting, or financial decisioning platforms, including configuration driven logic
  • Demonstrated experience translating documented business requirements and acceptance criteria into executable test plans, test cases, and validation scenarios
  • Experience operating within regulated financial services environments, with awareness of compliance, audit, or validation requirements
  • Experience testing configuration driven or rules based decisioning engines (e.g., eligibility rules, score thresholds, pricing logic)
  • Exposure to Agile or hybrid SDLC methodologies, including sprint based development and release cycles
  • Working knowledge of credit policy, underwriting workflows, or loan origination systems
  • Proven ability to identify, document, and track defects, including reproduction steps, expected vs actual results, and impact assessment
  • Proven track record of executing detailed testing with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring alignment between system behavior, business intent, and policy rules
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent testing efforts while meeting release timelines and quality standards
  • Willing or ability to work onsite 5 days a week in Lincoln, NE location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting testing efforts within consumer or commercial lending environments
  • Exposure to analytical or reporting tools such as SQL, Power BI, SAS, or R to support validation efforts

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
