The Associate Director - Change & Instructional Design is a senior leadership role responsible for driving enterprise change enablement while providing strategic instructional design and learning leadership across the organization.
In the near term, this role serves as a Change Practitioner, leading change strategies that support strategic initiatives and enterprise transformation. The role acts as a trusted advisor to leaders and stakeholders, shaping and executing change approaches that drive readiness, adoption, and sustained outcomes. Partnering closely with Communications, Learning, and cross‑functional teams, the role ensures change, communication, and training strategies are cohesive, aligned, and responsive to evolving business needs.
As part of the broader Training and Learning organization, this role also provides Associate Director‑level instructional design leadership, setting direction, standards, and oversight for learning solutions that address complex performance and organizational challenges. The role is accountable for elevating quality, mentoring talent, shaping learning strategy, and ensuring enablement solutions deliver measurable business impact.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Change Enablement & Stakeholder Leadership (for the first 2 years)
- Define and lead change enablement strategies aligned with enterprise objectives and transformation priorities
- Advise leaders and stakeholders on change impacts, readiness risks, and adoption strategies
- Lead stakeholder engagement efforts to build alignment, commitment, and sustained adoption
- Navigate ambiguity and evolving decisions, adapting change strategies and deliverables accordingly
- Synthesize stakeholder feedback and insights to inform decisions, priorities, and refinements
- Partner closely with Communications and Learning leaders to shape integrated change, communication, and training strategies
- Review and influence communication and enablement assets to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with change objectives
- Ensure timing, messaging, and learning approaches support readiness and behavior change
- Instructional Design & Learning Leadership
- Provide Associate Director‑level leadership for instructional design and learning solutions across initiatives
- Set direction, standards, and best practices for learning strategy, design, and delivery
- Review work produced by others and provide guidance to improve quality, effectiveness, and scalability
- Apply adult learning principles and performance consulting to translate business needs into effective learning solutions
- Monitor learning effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative data, recommending improvements as needed
- People Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Lead, mentor, and develop instructional design teams and/or supervisors
- Forecast and plan resource needs across change and learning portfolios
- Adapt priorities and plans to address shifting business and operational challenges
- Serve as a key expert and escalation point on complex or critical enablement efforts
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so
Required Qualifications:
- Skills/Experience
- Proven experience leading enterprise change enablement in complex, fast‑paced, and matrixed environments
- Experience aligning change, communications, and learning strategies to drive readiness and adoption
- Experience leading or mentoring teams and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Solid knowledge of change methodologies and best practices (e.g., ADKAR or equivalent)
- Demonstrated ability to partner with leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Senior‑level instructional design and learning leadership experience, including setting standards and reviewing work produced by others
- Solid consulting, stakeholder management, and relationship‑building skills
- Proven excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to diverse audiences
- Solid analytical and synthesis skills to balance competing inputs and prioritize actions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work on a hybrid set-up (6-10x on-site per month)
- Must be willing to be assigned to a night shift supporting a U.S. project (6:00 p.m. - 3:00 a.m. Manila time)
