The Senior Benefits Analyst is a strategic Total Rewards role responsible for high-level benefits escalation management, vendor governance, and strategic analytics for the Philippines. This role influences long-term benefits design, benchmarking, and Total Rewards strategy through market insights and data-driven recommendations. Serves as the second-line owner of escalated benefits issues - partnering with leadership to drive strategic improvements - and ensures that benefits programs align with policy intent, compliance requirements, employee experience standards, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
1. Benefits Escalation Management
Serve as the primary escalation point for complex, non-routine, or high-impact benefits cases unresolved by Employee Center or HR Operations. Apply policy interpretation, precedent, and judgment to reach fair, compliant, and defensible outcomes. Determine appropriate escalation to Total Rewards leadership, Legal, Finance, or vendors when required.
2. Vendor Governance & Service Oversight
Act as the benefits governance authority in engagements with benefits vendors and brokers (e.g., HMO, insurance, wellness, retirement partners). Lead vendor escalations, service recovery discussions, and root-cause analysis at a governance level. Monitor vendor service performance against policy intent and employee experience expectations. Surface vendor risks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities to Total Rewards leadership to support renewal and design decisions.
3. Strategic Enablement
Provide guidance and develop strategic benefits materials that translate complex rules into employee-friendly and leadership-appropriate guidance. Support capability-building across stakeholders, including high-level enablement for People Business Partners, Employee Center leads, and regional/global Total Rewards partners. Reduce avoidable escalations by strengthening understanding and frontline enablement through strategic communications, rather than routine training sessions.
4. Strategic Execution of Benefits Strategy
Support Total Rewards leadership in operationalizing benefits strategy and providing strategic input through:
* participation in benefits renewals and design discussions
* conducting benefits benchmarking and market analysis to inform competitive positioning
* providing consultative recommendations to optimize benefits design, cost/value trade-offs, and vendor sourcing based on benchmarking insights and market best practices
* leading or contributing to market studies and analytical projects that drive strategic decisions
* contributing Philippines input to global initiatives (e.g., benefits platform implementations)
* identifying employee impact, readiness risks, and local considerations prior to rollout of benefits changes
5. Risk, Compliance & Governance Support
Act as a second-line governance checkpoint for benefits interpretation and delivery. Support legal, audit, or compliance reviews by providing factual clarifications and benefits expertise. Identify systemic risks and gaps arising from escalations and provide recommendations for process or policy improvements to owning teams.

Strategic analytical and consulting capabilities, including market-based benefits benchmarking and recommendations to inform long-term Total Rewards strategy
Qualifications
At least 10 years experience in Benefits, Total Rewards
Extensive experience in employee benefits, insurance, or Total Rewards within a Philippines context
Proven experience handling high-level escalations, vendor oversight, or complex employee cases
Experience in benefits benchmarking, consulting, and supporting strategic Total Rewards initiatives is preferred
Work Arrangement
Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days WFH
Shift Schedule: 2PM-11PM
