You will lead the design and development of highly scalable, secure, and event‑driven integration services that connect LLM‑based intent engines, conversational bots, and enterprise backend systems. This role blends deep technical expertise with architectural leadership and cross‑functional collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and evolution of the integration layer connecting intent engines, conversational bots, and backend enterprise systems
  • Define and implement API orchestration, routing logic, and service integration patterns to support complex conversational workflows
  • Enable seamless interaction between LLM‑based intent detection, bot frameworks (e.g., Amazon Lex), voice systems, and enterprise APIs
  • Drive scalable, event‑driven architectures that support real‑time, high‑availability conversational experiences
  • Establish and enforce integration standards, reusable components, and governance models across engineering teams
  • Ensure all integrations meet security, authentication, authorization, and compliance requirements
  • Partner closely with AI/ML, platform, product, and architecture teams to deliver cohesive end‑to‑end solutions
  • Oversee performance, reliability, observability, and operational excellence of integration services in production
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to senior and mid‑level engineers
  • Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regard to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in a technical or people leadership role
  • Proven experience designing and building solutions on cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with event‑driven systems, such as Kafka, streaming platforms, or asynchronous processing frameworks
  • Demonstrated experience integrating conversational AI platforms, including Lex, LLMs, or voice systems
  • Solid hands‑on expertise in API design, microservices, and distributed systems
  • Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot and/or Python‑based architectures
  • Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, secure integrations, and enterprise security principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting large‑scale, high‑traffic conversational or digital channels
  • Experience establishing enterprise integration frameworks or shared platforms
  • Familiarity with healthcare, regulated environments, or compliance‑driven systems
  • Solid communication skills with the ability to influence across technical and non‑technical stakeholders
