JOB TITLE:    Senior Product Analyst

LOCATION:    1 Optum Circle, Eden Prairie, MN 55344 (Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S.)

DUTIES:    Defining and executing a unified product vision for a scalable data platform that supports multiple business units; aligning product strategy with enterprise data goals. Leverage data oriented programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) and visualization tools as needed to support product development and data investigations. Conduct market research and competitive analysis; develop a long-term roadmap and platform architecture; collaborate with data engineers to design ingestion, processing, and storage solutions; oversee development of APIs, SDKs, and governance policies; define data quality metrics and monitoring processes; expand platform capabilities and develop business cases for enhancements; gather requirements for new data sources and integrations; launch and optimize data products; partner with cross-functional teams to operationalize predictive models and machine learning algorithms; conduct A/B testing and analyze results to inform product decisions; build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate strategy; explore data monetization opportunities and demonstrate platform ROI; ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations; implement governance frameworks, audits, and retention policies; lead and mentor a product team; define product requirements and prioritize engineering tasks; support data engineering deliverables and ensure platform alignment. Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. 20% domestic travel required.

REQUIREMENTS:    Employer will accept a Master's degree in Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Science, Project/Program/Product Management or related field and completion of a university-level course, research project, internship, or thesis or one year of experience in the job offered or analyst related occupation. Position requires experience in the following:

*    Programming and Technical skills: C#, SQL, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, HTML, R, PowerBI, Git, Jenkins, Excel, Agile, and A/B Testing;
*    Methodologies: Agile and Waterfall:
*    Analyzing large datasets, interpreting KPIs, and applying data-driven decision-making;
*    End-to-end product lifecycle management, including automation of business processes;
*    System design principles, APIs, and architecture best practices;
*    Defining product vision, aligning with business goals, and translating into actionable roadmaps;
*    Evaluating trade-offs, making prioritization decisions, and managing product backlogs;
*    Trend analysis and integrating competitive intelligence into product strategy;
*    Making revenue-driven decisions and managing product budgets
*    Leading cross-functional teams and providing mentorship to junior staff;
*    Managing products through ideation, launch, growth, maturity, and retirement; and
*    Automation future-proofing strategies.

RATE OF PAY:  $140,000 / per year
