Capability Manager will lead and facilitate working sessions with business end users to understand new opportunities or enhance existing capabilities and translate those needs into clear requirements and User Stories.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote and drive Agile development methodology throughout the team/s, providing direction and support to development and quality assurance teams
- Define, prioritize, and drive realization of specific product vision
- Work with Business Analysts and other team members to ensure the product functionality is appropriately documented
- Accountable to represent business partners crossing functional areas to transform vision into requirements. Be the Subject Matter Expert accountable for requirements to align and deliver objectives. Escalating blocking items to Application Owner when applicable
- Accountable for aligning business teams thru development of communications, socialization, and education of objectives and detailed requirements guiding team members to accomplish objectives
- Serve as the 'voice of the customer' with delivery teams, representing/reinforcing the customer's perspective throughout the product realization cycle
- Manage developing requirements and prioritization of backlog, continuously and transparently communicate with internal stakeholders the prioritization of the Product Backlog and status
- Reviews, accepts, and prioritizes feedback and new requirements from project stakeholders
- Work with Scrum Masters to help direct, motivate, and guide the delivery teams
- Ensure that Scrum Team deliverables meet agreed-upon standards for quality and non-functional requirements, and that the products meet the stated business need
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, business analysts, developers, testers and others to develop and execute against Product Roadmaps and Release Plans
- Own, prioritize, and maintain the Product Backlog, including definition of epics, user stories, acceptance criteria
- Break down capability and feature level user stories into detail-level stories consumable and testable by a scrum team
- Collaborate with User Experience partners in usability testing and the development of the user design
- Manage, prioritize, and assess the impact of defects, including providing key input on the decisions to fix or defer
- Reviews output of development to ensure specified acceptance criteria has been completed

Required Qualifications:
- 7+ years in Product Ownership or Product Management (or related positions) in the Health Care Industry
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with gathering requirements for enhancements
- Advanced experience in Rally
- Intermediate experience in AHA
Preferred Qualifications:
- Passion for customers and a demonstrated focus on customer experience
- Maintain a basic knowledge of software development
- Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures
- Proven energy, motivation, and commitment to drive to results in a challenging, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to meet commitments, build consensus, negotiate resolutions, and garner respect from other teams
- Proven ability to work with the team and the stakeholders to continuously improve the quality of the product backlog and everyone's understanding of the items it contains
- Proven exhibit

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
