The Clinical Program Consultant serves as a strategic leader and trusted partner responsible for the oversight, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of vendor‑delivered case management programs across all lines of business. This role provides enterprise‑level leadership by ensuring programs deliver measurable clinical, financial, and operational value while aligning with organizational priorities and member outcomes.
This position leads governance, drives complex program enhancements and redesigns, and translates clinical program performance insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders. The Consultant also manages high‑priority, complex initiatives end‑to‑end, partnering closely with vendors and internal teams to ensure effective execution and sustained impact.
The ideal candidate brings deep managed care experience, solid project leadership capabilities, and the ability to synthesize complex clinical and operational information into concise, executive‑level communications that support enterprise goals.

Primary Responsibilities:
Clinical Program Oversight & Vendor Performance
- Monitor, analyze, and evaluate vendor‑delivered clinical and case management program performance across all lines of business, identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities for enhancement
- Serve as a primary liaison between lines of business and vendor partners to ensure robust measurement plans are established, executed, and delivered
- Partner with vendors and line‑of‑business leaders to develop meaningful, data‑driven content for Joint Operating Committees (JOCs) and Clinical Program Reviews (CPRs)
- Lead and manage the creation of line‑of‑business‑specific Intersegment Requirement (ISR) documents for care management programs
- Develop and deliver concise, actionable program updates and recommendations to executive leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders
- Lead governance forums to support decision‑making, issue escalation, prioritization, and alignment across clinical, operational, and product teams
- Manage end‑to‑end implementation of program enhancements and redesigns on behalf of the lines of business, in close partnership with vendor programs
Strategic Project & Initiative Leadership
- Lead high‑priority, complex initiatives from concept through implementation and post‑deployment monitoring
- Establish and manage comprehensive project plans, including milestones, timelines, risks, dependencies, governance structures, and decision documentation
- Proactively identify and resolve gaps or issues, maintaining real‑time documentation and clear escalation pathways
- Partner with operational and functional leaders to drive execution and translate program and project progress into clear, ongoing status communications for stakeholders

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Commercial, Medicare, and/or Medicaid managed care
- 5+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs
- Demonstrated experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize and convey complex information clearly and concisely
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working within the clinical aspects of managed care
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, problem‑solve proactively, and navigate ambiguity in complex environments
- Located in EST or CST timezones

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
