The Content Producer independently executes web content updates and page builds in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). This role ensures website content is accurate, compliant, accessible, and published efficiently. The Content Producer manages content from intake through publishing, serves as a quality gate for updates, and collaborates with strategy, design, product, compliance, and development partners. While not responsible for content strategy, the role provides execution level feedback to improve content quality and workflows.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Content Production & Publishing
- Build and update web pages in AEM using templates and Components
- Interpret content briefs; configure page properties (URLs, metadata, tags); and publish approved content following SEO and taxonomy standards
- Reuse and manage existing content, components, and assets efficiently
- Content Quality, Compliance & Accessibility
- Act as a quality gate to ensure accuracy, grammar, brand alignment, and compliance
- Confirm required legal and compliance approvals, including correct implementation of state specific variations
- Perform accessibility checks and ensure content meets WCAG standards
- Technical Execution & Troubleshooting
- Resolve common AEM authoring and display issues; distinguish content errors from potential defects
- Partner with developers using basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Test content across browsers and devices to ensure a consistent, responsive experience
- Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner with content strategists, product managers, designers, UX, compliance, and development teams to deliver content initiatives
- Represent content production in project meetings, providing status updates and surfacing risks or dependencies
- Workflow & Continuous Improvement
- Manage multiple content requests and deadlines using project management tools (e.g., CA Rally)
- Proactively communicate risks, maintain delivery timelines, and contribute to process documentation and authoring standards
- Share execution based feedback to improve content effectiveness and workflows

Required Qualifications:
- Previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates
- 3+ years of experience in digital content production or website content management
- Experience working in regulated environments with formal approval processes
- Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals, UX writing basics, and accessibility requirements
- Excellent editing skills with high attention to detail and consistency
- Proven proficiency with Adobe Experience Manager (Sites, components, DAM, workflows), including Core Components and Editable Templates
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively in a matrixed environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence, Asana, SharePoint)
- Advanced AEM experience (Content Fragments, Experience Fragments, MSM, permissions)
- Familiarity with healthcare insurance content (Medicare/Medicaid) and regulatory requirements
- Exposure to analytics and SEO tools (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush)
- Interest in onboarding, training, or mentoring content contributors

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
