As part of the M&R Part D Actuarial team, this position will include data querying and reporting to support all areas of the Part D Actuarial team. The position serves as a subject matter expert in pharmacy claims data and a consultant in meeting complex analytical needs.  

This position follow an office-based schedule with at least four days per week in out Minnetonka, MN office.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Query pharmacy data from various UHG data sources

• Work closely with stakeholders to define requirements, pull and analyze claims data, and communicate results

• Build dashboards to assess emerging trends to support forecasting and operational decision making

• Identify and solve complex analytical issues

• Identify opportunities to streamline processes

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of coding in SAS/SQL and working with MS Excel
• 1+ years of pharmacy and/or healthcare experience
• 1+ years of pharmacy data analytics and financial modeling experience
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Python.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Proven excellent storytelling and communication skills
  

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 - $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
