Primary Responsibilities:
- Daily work in the areas of AI/ML modeling, data-oriented software development & infrastructure, programming for data analysis, and data visualization
- Development and ownership of measuring the effectiveness of our product
- Enable the Data Science team to review and ingest new data as it becomes available
- Share responsibility for data collection, pipelines, and reports/dashboards that allow democratized access to data
- Work with SMEs to understand even the most nuanced context behind pipeline design decisions, input data sources, and the outputs they produce
- Influence roadmap and priorities by contributing data driven recommendations and proposing new applications of Data Science techniques to address business problems
- Build with solid foundations for repeatable analyses
- Contribute readable, maintainable, and testable code to ensure that datasets created and models trained will deliver expected results
- Read and contribute to others' code to help it meet the same standards
- Participating in cross-functional implementation of data science products
- Work with stakeholders and others on assigned projects to ensure that value is being delivered at a regular pace
- Work with technical partners (e.g., Data Engineers) to ensure that assets developed for analytical/modeling purposes are stable, reliable, and reproducible
- Communicate complex analytical findings clearly to expert and non-technical audiences

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree OR equivalent experience
- 3+ years of professional experience in Data Science or a related role (or combination of experience and education)
- 1+ years of experience writing Python and/or Pyspark for Data Analysis
- 1 + years of experience writing SQL for Data Analysis
- 1+ years of experience working with code version control (e.g., GitHub)
- Intermediate level of understanding of how to approach a problem with AI/ML solutions
- Intermediate level of proficiency creating and delivering data-oriented presentations to expert stakeholders
- Beginner level of proficiency with software development principles
- Ability to identify opportunities for AI/ML methods to provide business value
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to a large, CI/CD software project
- Experience taking a model from concept to evaluation to production
- Experience with model explainability and bias/fairness evaluation tools and processes
- Advanced understanding of Pyspark
- Experience with cloud tools: Databricks, AWS, Azure, Ascend
- Experience with software development/deployment tools: Python IDE(s), Pytest, Jira, GitHub, Jenkins, GutHub Actions
- Experience with additional programming tools: Shell scripts, Terraform, Docker

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
