The Manager, Business Operations & Strategic Enablement serves as a strategic partner to Provider Data and Eligibility Operations leadership, supporting executive issue management, operational performance analysis, process optimization, business reviews, and strategic improvement initiatives.

This role is responsible for translating complex operational challenges into actionable recommendations, leading cross-functional process improvement efforts, identifying opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, automation, and scalability, and supporting leadership communications and decision making. The position partners closely with operations, technology, markets, payors, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across Provider Data and Eligibility Operations.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Executive Issue Management & Business Support
    • Lead research, analysis, and coordination of high-priority operational issues and executive escalations
    • Conduct root cause analyses and develop executive-ready summaries and recommendations
    • Partner with operational leaders to track remediation efforts and monitor progress against strategic priorities
    • Provide analytical support for leadership decision making and business planning activities
    • Support leadership in identifying emerging operational risks, trends, and opportunities
  • Process Optimization & Operational Excellence
    • Lead efforts to document, map, and evaluate end-to-end workflows across Provider Data and Eligibility Operations
    • Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, automation, scalability, and operational effectiveness
    • Analyze current-state processes to identify rework, waste, unnecessary handoffs, bottlenecks, and process variation
    • Facilitate development of future-state workflows and operational models that improve performance and reduce operational risk
    • Partner with operational and technology teams to support implementation of process improvements
    • Develop business cases supporting automation and process enhancement opportunities
  • Business Performance & Strategic Initiatives
    • Monitor operational performance trends and identify opportunities for business improvement
    • Support strategic initiatives across Provider Data and Eligibility Operations
    • Coordinate cross-functional projects involving operational, technology, market, and business stakeholders
    • Develop performance reporting, scorecards, dashboards, and analytical tools that support operational decision-making
    • Track strategic initiatives through implementation and completion
  • Executive Communications & Leadership Engagement
    • Develop executive-ready presentations, communications, business reviews, and decision-support materials
    • Prepare materials for Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), leadership meetings, governance reviews, and strategic planning sessions
    • Translate complex operational information into concise messaging tailored to executive audiences
    • Ensure leadership communications accurately reflect operational performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic priorities

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of healthcare operations, provider data, eligibility, business operations, process improvement or related experience
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and operational improvement efforts
  • Experience conducting root cause analysis and developing business recommendations
  • Experience documenting business processes and facilitating process improvement initiatives
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, reports, and communications
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated solid analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Facets, Epic, Xcelys, Monarch, or related healthcare operational platforms
  • Experience with process mapping, workflow design, Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence, or Continuous Improvement methodologies
  • Experience identifying automation opportunities and supporting business transformation initiatives
  • Experience leading MBRs, QBRs, executive reviews, governance forums, or strategic planning efforts
  • Experience developing business cases, operational analyses, and executive recommendations
  • Experience supporting large-scale implementations, migrations, platform conversions, or operational stabilization initiatives

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). No matter where or when you begin a career with us, you'll find a far-reaching choice of benefits and incentives. The salary for this role will range from $91,700 - $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
